I have had several phone calls and e-mail this past few days about the
weather. I want to set everyones mind at ease the weather man is
calling for sunny and in the high 50 to low 60 degree days. The sun is
expected to shine on Wednesday, I will prep the track on Wednesday and
we will have limited practice late Wednesday. I hope you are ready to
race cause it is going to be a lot of fun

Well the first day of qualifying is over and the weather and the track have been great. It was a little chilly this morning but warmed up to a nice 60+degree day. Darrin is setting in the TQ spot in both classes. His MRX-4 is like a shot out of a gun down the back straight. Everyone is having a good time and we will have atleast 2 rounds tomorrow.

Just walked in the door ( 4 AM).
Rich did a great job getting everything ready for us to race this weekend. The cleaning tanks went over real well, as that made cleaning the bodies SOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier.
Had a blast, too bad about the turnout, but with bad weather, just never know what will happen.
Yep,
Darrin won the 1/8th race, just an animal on the track. THe Powder Puff race was cool. I had a good time just watchin those two go at it. Hugo and Sara are great people.
Hope to see you all again in April!

Default The Aftermath

Well let me start by saying thank you to all that made this event possible Alan Pyle and Lori Alberti, with out you two we would not get these races off the ground. I also want to thank everyone that came and raced. I don't think we could have asked for better weather than what we had 60+ degree days with shorts and t-shirts in January. The turn out was less than expected but we still had some great racing. This is to be expected with a first time race and next year I am sure we will sell out. I want to thank everyone for there kind words and praise through out the weekend. We have worked hard to make it fun and easy to race in Las Vegas, from the ease of room accommodations to the great track setup and everything in between. I want to thank GS Racing for there support and Byron's Fuel for keeping everyone running, they have in my opinion the best Product on the market from there fuel to there staff. I will try and post the results very soon, once again thank you to all that made this a great event.
