Nice Final race! To bad the whole event evolved arround "tire sauce" like the Worlds earlier this year!

Strange enough there's nothing to be found on the internet about this....Why was that?

From what I was told is that there was a sauce which could not be detected and they have caught a driver on a parking lot sprankling his tires with tire sauce, a picture was hang up..

So did EFRA or Ifmar actually put something in print, or is this still some mystery rule that gets past around the pit. Its getting a bit ridiculous over there.

Thank good ROAR addressed this like 15 or more years ago...

Where? The only ban on sauce I see in the ROAR rulebook is for 1/5th scale. Everything else seems to fall under this rule:

The use of commercially available traction compounds and/or tire cleaners at
any ROAR event is at the discretion of the Race Director and any bans or
special requirements must be disclosed in advertising, on race entry forms, and
in track rules.
At carpet races, tire cleaners and traction compounds that can coat the track
are not allowed.
7.3.8.1 For health and safety reasons, diesel fuel, and any personally developed
traction chemicals and/or tire cleaners are not allowed at any ROAR event.

So it sounds to me like you can use any commercial product (no home concoctions) as long as the track doesn't advertise a ban on it before the race.

Always. But I still don't see where ROAR has ever addressed the issue.

This is where they addressed it. Along time ago.
