I like mine. I had e-mailed Ritchey 3 or 4 times about building me some motors, and he stopped responding to my e-mails for some reason. I had cash in hand, and came across this motor, so I bought it .

Does the RS12S5JP last as long as the RS12S5?
And does the RS12S5JP have more advantage than the RS12S5?
Thanks
Bryan

I have both the standard RS-12 and the JP Modified RS-12. The JP has only slightly more bottom end power then the RS-12. The JP 12's arn't as hyped up as the .21 JP's, but if your looking for that slight extra gain in performance, its worth it.

my LHS swears by JP's engines as the best on the planet....
I look forward to buying a ritchey and proving them wrong

bryan:

i have seen the Nova S5, a friend of mine who use to run RB's has 1 and is very convinced and he is very happy with it. He was still breaking it in when i first saw it, it ran good and very fast!!!

You should also check out M-Speed's RS12 (www.mspeed-jp.com), price is around US$400+, ordered the motor direct from them. this is by far the fastest .12 motor i've seen around here.

How i wish i could get hold of 1 of Motormans motors, e-mailed him but he said that he is not shipping to this part of the world just yet

I would recommend the S5 though if regulations at your local track allow you to run these..
