Set Up
All I can tell you is that if I set the car up at 1 deg camber front, 1 deg Toe out Front, 2 Deg Camber Rear, and 3 Deg Toe In Rear the car handles great if you run 1mm smaller tires in the front than the back.
I have yet to traction this car, and for me, it has been the best handling car I have had.
Granted, I had been a Serpent Driver for 3 years, However, when working out the small bugs as with any car, I have found that this is the best fit for me so far !!!!!!!
I have seen alot of talk about the servos, and I happen to have been using the JR Servos DS8411's for the whole season and they fit fine if your looking for a JR Servo Setup.

I tried a few different servos, KO's fit great, used some older nondigitals, Futabas, the 9451 fits great on the steering, but a 3010 style servo did not work so well on the steering, it was too tall from the ears up to the horn, look for a servo that is "short" from the ears up to the horn, these seem to fit the best.

Rear Tire Coning
Scott's set-up is very similar to mine in camber front and rear. Running three degrees of rear camber will eliminate most coning problems. If the tires are still coning(going from a larger inside diameter to a smaller outside diameter) Make sure you have your camber links adjusted properly. I generally attach the camber link on the upright at it's highest point, and have the camber link on the lowest point on the bulkhead. This sharper angle will induce more camber change.
To much ride height for a very high bite track will also cause more body roll and cause coning problems as well.

Awesome, The Car fits my driving style like no other, once you get over the few little tweaks that have to be done it is a dream !!!!
I hope you all get a chance to see the review on page 68 of RC Cars Extreme Magazine !! Apparently they checked all the right sources on what needs to be done to make it a very competitive car, and once done were impressed with the handling of the car !!!

hey all u mongoose owners.if i were u id try really hard to get my hands on the new stratus body cuz its super dailed on the car. at least at my local tracks.the body got great turn in and it won't lose the rear end going around a corner.and on top of all that it super stable.

Stratus 3.1
I looked at the 3.1 and contemplated getting it. I'm curious racer x what body were you using before your tried the 3.1? What do you feel it changed on handling from the previous body you ran? I've run only the Mazda 6 and the 3.1 looks to have a wider front nose with a more straight line between the front headlights to the start of the roofline. The madza 6 has more of a sharper break to the start of the windshield and then goes up.
