Default Front Diff

I just found it again, Look on page 8 of this thread and you will see the dialogue that took place.

Dino.Tw posted a picture etc... and it appears that the part # is 502115.

Basically a rear end with a front pulley attached.

Hi guys. I'm building my goose right now. I was just wondering what receiver pack do you use, flatpack or humpback?

Thanks

You can use the 3x2 packs.

They look like this from the side

oo
ooo

You can get them from rdlogics or ebay. Trinity also makes one.

Default Servos for the mongoose

Hey all,
I am just about ready to buy the combo from RD and need to know what servos fit. I saw in the threads that one is a futaba low profile: part number??? and airtronics: part number?

Also, how is the combo engine to tune for a nitro newbie?

Thanks in advance

I run a HiTech digital servo for the steering without any fit issues. I guess the only thing people have trouble with with servo's is to think logically. If it doesn't fit with the ball end gacing the front of the car, then space the servo forward and fit the ball end facing the rear of the car.

Too easy.

The OS TR is 5 port and not ROAR Legal :-( I am thinking of the RB Engines or possibly the Team Orion WASP .12 turbo or non-turbo. I can seem to find the non-turbo in stock anywhere.

Thanks

Hey guys! I need some help here..I just ran my mongoose for the first time and my fly weights keep getting pushed so far out that it is locking up my clutch!...you can acctualy see the weights hanging out of the clutch assembly!....I have rebuilt the clutch 4 times and tried some different things but still with the same results....my motor screams but I didn't think it was fast enough to squeeze the weights right out of the clutch!..so I'm getting fustrated..I have raced sedans for a long time at a high level of competition and have never ran into a problem like this ...I'm starting to wish I had my mugen back but I realy like this cars lay out if I could just work out some of the bugs...Any help on the clutch issue would be greatly appreciated!...Thank You!

Isuzuguy and anyone that can help, I found the post about fixing the fly weight problem but motorman says to file the edge of the fly wheel..heck if I do that I'm worried the weights might just fly out!....so I don't know if he is speaking of the same problem I'm having or not?..my weights are definately sliding freely they are just sliding out so far they are getting jammed between the flywheel and the clutch shoe plate....Any more advice would be greatly appreciated...Thank you.
