The XR8 will be imported into the U.S. by Happytime Hobby Distributor (better known as Power Racing) in September or early October. The pictures are of a prototype that was displayed at the Nationals two weeks ago, that prototype is now testing in Taiwan. Whoever took the pictures, thanks.
More infomation and details will be posted at www.happytimehobby.com soon. Street price will be around $399, and that includes almost everything pictured, the 7075 machined chassis and all carbon fiber pieces....no, the engine isn't included!

Since it was a prototype and a lot of the parts were machined (even the bumper was machined from solid nylon), it couldn't be raced that way. Parts would have been kind of hard to find in the event of a crash...
I think there are plans to take it to races on the west coast later this year (especially if Vegas actually happens) and to the Winternats in Florida next year.

I saw it at the Nats, I liked the balance of it, but I also see some Serpent in it as well. Looks great anyway, and for the price, time will tell if it can perform,

" If " there is a .21 on-road competition engine which's street price is aroung $299. It will be more great. The Formula 1 of R/C sport will become real affordable
