I was there today. Swuager had the most motor in both races. In sedan his clutch went out early and that was it. After that Scotty Gray had the race won from about half way through. He was fast. DJ Apolaro was in his first EVER Winternats and while he was a little short on power, compared to the top team guys, his box stock Mega engine could hold it's own. He drove a very clean race and took second. Thrid was quite a battle. Mugen's Ishitani and Serpent's Cornella both swapped back and forth a few times I believe. Cornella fought hard after he got a screwjob early by the turnmarshalls, within the first 10 minutes his car got wedged under a tire barrier and none of the marshalls saw it until a few laps had passed. Ishitani managed to grab thrid near the end of the race.
I didn't pay enough attention to 1/8th. Swauger was flying. so was Slaven Scotty Gray was leading as well for a short while, but didn't have the same power as Swauger or Salven. Salven and Gray had problems and retired Chuck Moon and Marco Vinni overcame some troubles and took 2nd and third. But Once Salven came out, all Swauger had to do was finish for the win
This was the first Winternats I'd seen and it was amazing. I pitted for DJ Apolaro, along with Maxy Velazco from Maxy's fuel, in the sedan A main and man that thing was tense. Even though there were some big names missing, this thing was awesome.
