Hi guys, could anyone tell me if an align ds610 servo can be used for onroad cars, most reviews etc i have seen for it are for helis and planes, got it really cheap and figured it would make a great steering servo for my 1/8, any of u guys have any experience using this in an onroad gas car?

should work fine i use my align servos all the time in our onroad and offroad cars,savox makes a very good servo it is same as the align . they also make a high voltage one that just as good as the JR and half the price

Ok, so its fine to use in my 1/8th, 0.08 sec, 12kg and titan gears, im sure this wil be a good steering servo.

btw, ive seen some post that say align and savox are basically the same servo, is that true?

no i know its sunny i meant south africans the people the govermeant is shady like julies n those guys you lucky you live in durbs i live in east london

Yes

The Align servos are marketed to the Heli crowd where there is more competition in servos so they are much better value for money.
