i have one in a tmaxx running 30 % jacs fuel .it will pull stand still wheelies on demand as far in a touring car ,you are probably better off with an os tr or something close to that type of engine

my friend put one in a super nitro and i had a customer who had me install it into their super nitro as well. it is a powerful motor but it seems lacking in the revs. power is almost instantaneous in the super (felt more like an electric).
if you are doing short drag racing then its ok, but for practical purposes i'd rather put something with a wider rev range.

I have the new .18 cvr in an old hpi rs43 for parking lot driving/dragging. The engine sounds awsome and has instant speed. under good traction it actaully bumps the front wheels off the ground on the shift to second gear. I changed the gears to maximize the torque and in all honesty the slight lack of rpm can be made up by gearing.
It sounds so cool in that rs4 3 though.......no modding or new mounts needed.... a direct drop in. As for a track racer it just doesnt work cause of the classes and divisions but it is sure fun! hard on the drivetrain though.
