Z,

When its acting up, is it stuck in 2nd or is just not shifting from 1st to 2nd? Are you & BJ putting anything on the 1-way?

They stop shifting from first to second. I have had them both apart and they are assembled correctly. Just looks to me like the rollers fit too tightly in the shoes and they sometimes stick.

We are using the same silicone lube we have used in the past. What should we be using?

The other adjustments you mentioned are good but for me, often not enough. I like a car that enters very aggressively, more like a 1/12th scale and those adjustments alone are nowhere near enough.

Roll center is exactly what is being changed with the rear lower arm adjustment.
Hi Wingracer,
Could you post your setup to get aggressively turn in ?. My 11 is too stable with standard setup. made several changes..800cst rear and 650 front blue springs all round...the back will hook mid corner... any idea how to solve ?

I haven't run the 11 yet but the first thing I would do is go softer. I know that sounds backwards but your set-up sounds way too stiff unless you are running on a heavily sprayed VHT track. Go with white springs all around with maybe 450 front/ 500 rear oil. Still need more turn-in, raise the rear lower arms. I know PM doesn't agree but seriously, try it. You can always go back if it doesn't work for you.

I am currently running the upper arms pin down track was med traction
stock springs,Stock oil
ackerman stock
droop 0F 8R
width 253F 263R
front camber 2
rear camber 3.5
toe front 1
toe rear 2.5
full size tires
the car felt real good but will have more insight since I was only running 1/2 power breaking in the engine
Body mounted 12mm from bumper & you can mount it slighlty more forward to get more steering & agressive entry

Team Shepherd made very good resultŽs at the EuroŽs last week.
With Michele Romagnoli in 4th. and Oliver (Marathon) Mack in 5th. we are more than happy with this result.
Impressive was again 20 year old Simon Kurzbuch, miss the TQ for a small mistake in last qualifier and bad luck in the main for a broken Servo.

So, 3 Velox in the main against 2 Mugen and each one for Serpent, Capricorn, Kyosho, Motonica and Xray.

We test very well Kevlar Pulleys that we want release very soon.
This was the only option what we use, all our DriverŽs where using the
V8 "eleven" out of the Box.

We would also like to report that this past weekend was the first of the Forgass state series here in Florida. With Scotty Gray taking the TQ for the qualifying in sedan and Sean Lue for the 2 place finish in 1/8 scale. That was a race to watch. Well done guys. I think everyone was tired after watching the race.
