New built hpi rs4 3 evo new
 

hpi rs4 3 evo new, never run. I bought this new and before assembling it I spent a month buying options for it. I won't list all the options, but you can see them in the pictures. The car was pretty much all plastic except for the chassis, and I replaced that with a 4mm alloy chassis. The car sits very low to the ground right now. I will post a page dedicated to bodies I have for the rs4 3's. Thanks for looking

rs4 3 used alloy madness Restored
 

Car looks good almost all alloy but it's heavy. Bought this car used, needed new chassis which I replaced and almost all the hardware was replaced. I put a new hpi 18 engine in it, the engine was broken in but on another chassis. I have not touched it since. I have an almost all original rs4 3 basher that I run if I want to use this scale. I'm stuck in superten scale so this scale seems really small to me now, anyways thanks for looking. Talk about going backwards in time.

I have an rs4 with many upgrades also! But i didn't opt for all the alloy to keep weight down. Why did you switch out the carbon fiber and two speed? i like how you had the rear exhaust, the left side of my body and rear tire get dirty from the side exhaust.
I'd love to attempt to put seals in the diffs to put oil in.

The first car with the rear exhaust is not the same car as the all alloy car.
The rear exhaust car was bought brand new and never used and all hopped up as I built it up.

the all alloy car is a car I bought on the bay and restored it.

Hopefully that clears things up for you.

Nice cars you got there. My first car was an HPI RS4 nitro. Always fun to think about the good old days. Like you, I too enjoy the larger scale cars, but I jumped into 5th scale.

I'm dying to get in to the 1\5th scale but I'm a little worried about the cost. The first 1\5th I would get would be the hpi 5t.
Well I guess technicly I'm already a 1/5th scale owner because of my four nitro bikes. duh!
