I notice something which I am not sure whether its of any significance: When I gun the throttle, bubbles or foams start to form in the tank(this should be normal,I think). But as soon as i let go of the throttle, a very big bubble will erupt from the bottom of the tank, particularly at the fuel inlet point. Is this normal?
I've had a lot of problems with the tank seal, basically it's junk.

You might get a days racing out of it and then it will start to fail.

It just seems too thin to be up to the job.

Not usually a problem Craig, the seal has been the same throughout the V one series and whilst it should be replaced regularly they last quite well.

I've had about four meets out of two tanks and both seals are shot.

They even seem to be a smaller diameter on the outside compared to the inside of the lid.

I"ve checked the seal when rebuilding the car and it's seemed ok only to check it when I get home to find that it has little to no sealing ability at all. The affect it has on the run on of the engine I'd say I don't have to tell you about.

I've made some of my own today and they seal perfectly so I'm keen to try them out.

They have a bigger diameter and are slightly thicker.

Now it makes you wonder how the WC guys did it for 60 full minutes with the RRR...

Check for flash on the sealing face of the tank Craig, a sharp edge could be causing your problem, as you know I've been running Kyosho for years and very rarely have problems. The MTX "O" ring was more of a problem, would eventually turn into white powder.
