Default It looks awesome

firtzD: It's really cool that you could get an aluminum shock tower made. Since I'm new at this, I guess I don't quite understand the advantage over a graphite/composite version.

I have a few aluminum parts from 3Racing (http://www.3racing.com.hk) - brake bracket, brake bar, side stiffner and throttle mixing arm. These came highly recommended by the folks I bought the car from. Are there any other parts that I should consider getting?

Thanks!

P.S. Thanks to everyone that answered my body question thus far! AndyT ©, 710baby and Xyvern

actually you dont need aluminum parts if you're a very good driver... the worlds edition is very race worthy ...well for me.... because i broke a graphite shock tower already.... the tower that comes with the RRR Worlds kit isn't very thick.. so i just had an aluminum one machined.. its so tough now... i won't worry anymore.

my neighbor is a machinist and he owns a machine shop... you could do that there.. just look for a machine shop show them a sample and give them instructions... they can fabricate just about anything... if you want i could sell you mine. i had five pieces..

the aluminum shock tower i have have is really quite light... i cant tell the difference with the graphite one.. my neigbor offered me different alloys... the was one that was very tough and light but very expensive... i chose aluminum since it was affordable, tough, and light also...

im sure you can find machine shops in your place... if not, i'd be willing to help you..

Guys, aluminum may not break in a crash but it will bend. Your best bet to replace the thin stock shock tower is the Skyline 4mm rear shock tower:

http://www.skylinercracing.com/store/P_39.htm

Nearly everyone at my track uses it and no one has broken one as far as I know.

Well, I have the original edition so I've pretty much upgrade it to the WCE spec. If you already have the WCE I think the only other upgrades are:

Kawahara K-484 back plate
Kyosho VZW216 Aluminum Middle Shaft Mount
Kyosho VZW207 rear shock stay
