ive manages to break 2 already.. i used to run the beraing dry but yesterday i was advised to run them with a drop of oil so ill see how it goes now
The thrust bearing IMHO should have a good quality grease applied as part of your preparation for the days racing. If you treat it well then you will get good life out of it.
Check that there is about 0.15mm endplay on the clutchbell, you may have to many shims installed or maybe not enough.
If you are not sure about building the clutch than go and read Josh Cryuls Centrifugal Clutch Assembly & Tuning 101
and it will give you a good basis work from.
