Default RRR SIDE BELTS

Hey guys

Can anyone help..
Ive been running my RRR sence last year. And i never had any problems with my side belt. I would have problems with my
front or rear belt before my side belt. But this year i decided to
change my side pulley from 23 to 24Teeth, and i run no split on my tires.
I would say that after 30min of running my side belt is missing teeth. Not just 1 or 2 here and there, but sections of teeth are missing. Does anyone know why is that.

Maybe you are running them too tight?

Yes... it does feel tighter.
But i have about 10 pack of side belts. all with the same ordering
number. some seem to be looser or tigher than others why?

I think there is a different belt if you want to run 24T front pully.

Yes there might be a different belt, but how or do you have a ordering no# for the larger belt?

one main reason this happins is when you are stuck against a wall and give it gas to get out, you tear that belt up. if you are stuck against a wall, wait for a turn marshall. i know it sucks to wait, but if you do not you will ruin belts.

i have not used the hudy tweak station yet. i do have one on order and it shall be in soon. right now i use a MIP tweak staion for the tweak only, and it works great. as far as setting the track width i use a ruler. for example i measure the front at 199mm. then i pick a point on each side that should be equal distance to the tire. for example, i used the side of the chasis to the end of the front tire on the left side. then i measure from the side of the chasis to the end of the left side. if the two measurements are equal, plus your car is at the desired track width, you are ok!!! remember, not only is the track width important, but also that the width on the right side and left side are equal as well. i hope this helps.
