Questions?? Mugen Pro Starter II w/4s Lipo Help

Anyone have a Mugen Pro Starter II box and installed a 4s lipo? Looking for the correct diagram to install the lipo. Since the box has 2 tamiya connectors for the two nimh batteries. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Dear

I installed 2 lipos in off road and on road Mugen starter boxes.

You should check the room of starter box for installing a new lipo battery.

I attacted 2 pics for you.

One is a off road and another is a on road.

I bought 2 lipos from Hobby King.

On road's room is smaller than off road starter box.

So I installed a 3300mh lipo for on road.

I put a 5000mh lipo in off road starter box.

Lipo size is depended on its capacity.

My friend installed a pro teck lipo which is a small size but its capacty is around 1650mh but it is so good for starter box and reduces the weight of starter box.

I am lazy so I need bigger.

It is easy but be careful. You only use iron and solding..

Connector is simple and you only check + , - .

You can seperate the two 2S batteries in your 4S pack and put Tamiya plugs on them.

Thats very dangerous, and I would never recommend opening up Lipos...

Its so easy to cut the cables from the switch and the motor which in turn removes the "jumper" between the tamiya plugs. And just solder a deans plug with those two cables (switch/motor)

Yeap and solder the negative wires to the copper contact strips. Find a couple of o-rings to go around the contacts to apply tension when it is assembled.
