I had a couple of racers ask, so I'll ask. Will you have bump ups from the lower mains?

Good Morning Guys: We have an Electric only Cub Race on Thursday night so we will be at the track all day. everyone is welcome to come on out and get setup and hang out, and if ya got an Electric TC bring and run with us.

OK: So the format for the race weekend is being adjusted just a bit as we see the qty of entries, and we have a lot of folks traveling from out of town so we want to maximize the track time...

Rocket Round Quals (3) Rounds

TC 5 min
IGT 5 min
10th Scale 5 min
8th Scale open 8 min

top (8) straight into the A with (2) bump up in the Lowers

Mains:

Tripple A Mains for Electric 5 min

Lower Mains 20 min (2) Bumps

A Main 30 min. IGT/10th Scale Gas

A Main 45 min. 8th Scale

Awards Top 3 in A-Main

Depending on Time if available we would like to increase the A mains for Sedan and IGT to 45 min

Track is all painted up and looks just awesome

Can't wait to get to the best and biggest race on the west coast in years! Thanks for all your hard work and hospitality Rick and Mark!

8 minute qualifiers?!? Is that a mistake?

Stay tuned Scott: trying to get above the 5 min quals......and not have to make 2 stops... still figuring things out.

Want to also announce that we will have the legendary “Kung Foo Panda” on the mic helping out as our Race Director, plus we are trying to make sure he runs mod TC also. Kody is a seasoned professional on the mic and helps keep the Seattle guys at Hanger 30 on track and will do a great job for us.

Thanks Kody and that will help Rick and I more than you know....

Default Coming from Sioux Falls, SD

Hello everyone!

I will coming out to race the Timezone Grand Prix next week from Sioux Falls, SD.

I will be racing the 1/10 TC 17.5 stock class as well as the 1/10 TC mod class.

I have a XRAY T2 2008 for the stock class and XRAY T3 2011 for the mod.

T2 has a 1.7 internal and my T3 has a 1.9 internal.

I was wondering if I could get some help on the gearing for the two classes??

My Mod will have a 5.5 LRB with at TekinRS ESC. 17.5, obviously on the stock.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Default track info

A few quick questions:

Which way will the layout be run, clockwise, or counter clockwise?

What is the racing line distance of the track?

Thanks!

Good Morning Guys: last weekend and we are getting the final things done around the track... Sooooo the return of Marty Barnes....... going to be a blast... old track record holder got some work to do now... 13.9's sure to see 13.6's coming out of the hot shots.

Patrick will be nice to see you out at TZR....

Josh... so on stock I'd hit the track around 3.5 to 3.7 FDR for stock. Mod I am not an expert but the 5.5T maybe 7.8 to 8.0 FDR, get a fan on both of them if you can...

Clockwise direction on the track, main straight about 180' to 200' full throttle into 20 degree banked sweeper, and the racing line 975' ish... picture don't show it but we got a little elevation change, some super banked turns, a couple perfect flat ones, and a off camber series that will mess with your mind. a simpler layout but very technical to get your car to work well in every corner...

With the exception of the tech on the spec tires, this is not a ROAR Race and will operate much like the Byron's race with a "TFZ" tech free zone..... we want everyone to race and have a good time....

Also want to give a heads up to the guys... Bring your FM Walkman's or Portable radios (digital tuners help)... we broadcast KTZR 96.1 on your FM Dial. it will have the PA system routed through it, and will help give us coverage deeper in the forest.... also working on the FM walkman’s for the corner marshal’s. it works awesome so they can hear what’s going on as they are out standing by the straight away.

Also we are asking all the locals to help and bring out your extra tables, chairs, and EZ-Up's. got more and more out of town folks we want to make sure they are covered.

We are stealing tables and chairs from the carpet track today and setting up our Canopies and will have a better idea this afternoon.
