1/8 Tuning Question
Guys on many occasions on rctech and other sites when setting up your 1/10 car most recommend using Hudy's booklet as guide for setup but when it comes to 1/8 what guide is used for tuning your setup.

I believe Xray has a 1/8th version out now. Also most everything you know about 1/10th TC also applies to 1/8th.

Ok thanks guys, I thought some of the principles changed because of the LCG and I have seen guys talk about body position etc play a great part in the feel of the car.
Xray does not have anything, Martin said maybe after the Worlds
I will check out the Serpent 960 booklet, I was looking at the 966 but did not find any.

It depends on what body you will be using.
Typically from the edge of the front bumper to the inside of the front of the body it is around 10mm to 12 mm. But then again it depends on the body. This is just a rule of thumb, as everyone likes to mount the body to suit their own driving. Post what body you will be using, and then a dem. will be posted for that body. 2mm on a body location makes a big difference in handling.
I use the P909 and sit it at 12mm for my Mugen, and I use the Zytek for my Serpent, and follow the body post locations that are laid out already for that body.
