I saw one today at CP, Chen Luk was testing it for OFNA. However, this was a Pro model and it looked good. Lots of graphite and alum. plus centax.
He said he got everything out of the box they gave him. Mentioned possible price of $300. Unlike the RTR, this one featured a laydown steering servo like on the Mongoose except driving the same steering arm like on the RTR.

200mm started out as a couple of electric tourers converted to nitro and now its just a bunch of downsized 1/8's
However, the biggest problem was that 235 was a "me too" class to 1/8 which is why people dropped it. 200mm is still distinctly different because they run sedan bodies and also are able to use belted rubber tires borrowed from their electric cousins.
I think that for 235mm to come back or to spark interest, something big must happen like affordability and cheap speed that is significant or something new and bold in accessorizing the chassis.

the reason that 235mm went was because of lack of car brands, when picco and mugen stoped making their cars thats when it all started to go down hill, and what you mean bodies, they have a good range to choose from, at the moment you can get a serpent 835 for 550AU which is a very good price and engines arent very expensive compared to 21s, 12s are now trying to cost up to 450AU which is ridiculous but yea i think after the worlds in Australia nxt year serpent and mabe others will focus on 235mm but we ll just have to see.
