Whenever i try to start it (after a few pulls) the engine ctaches on and goes AT FULL THROTTLE its very scary, if i had not sarted it on a block who knows where it would of gone to, but none the less what should i do? im getting to scared to go near it

Do you have the receiver and transmitter turned on? If you do make sure the throttle isn't open. If thats not the case try adjusting the idle screw. Look into the carb there should only be about a 1mm opening when the throttle is at idle. If that doesnt work, try richening the mixture some. To me though, it sounds like the throttle is already open when you are starting it, so check the carb before you start it next time to see what the gap looks like.

because the car is brand new and has been run at full throttle with the wheels up im afraid this has wrecked the engine because im sure running the engine at full throttle is not part of the breaking in process

turn the servo and apply the brake and start it also make sure the carb closes as for the motor no telling

do you think the engine is stuffed? not being broken in properly?

spin the fly wheel see what it feels like you should feel some friction and how long did it run at full throttle. I would go ahead and do the break in and just run it

it would of run at 2-3 mins max. The radio had no effect on anything it was rocketing away from me and i had the brakes on and it did nothing (yes the radio was on) !! faulty unit??

Turn on the electronics and look into the carb (by taking off the air filter, but don't actually run it without the filter) next time you use it to check how far open it is. It may be that the throttle trim is way out of wack, which you should be able to adjust from the remote. Like I said you should only see about 1mm of gap at idle. The throttle linkage may be adjusted wrong also, so check that too. If it still runs wide open with a 1mm gap you have the worlds most amazing nitro engine.
