Default Kyosho PureTen GP Problem

Hi

Just got this nitro car and is my first time holding a nitro.. (I know nothing about nitro cars..)

I am not sure, but I am pretty certain you have to tug the pull start to start the car. However, whenever I pull the starter its jammed and I am unable to pull it out..

Any idea on what I should do to get it running?

Thanks

if the engine is brand new, its probably got hydrolic lock on account that you are running it in on a rich setting. What you should do is take out the glow plug and flush out as much fuel as you can and try starting it then, and try leaning the main fuel mixture by about 1/8th of a turn but no too much!

Take out the glow plug and pull. If it is still jammed it is either your pull start itself is jacked up or possibly worse case is you have a broken rod inside the engine. If it pulls freely then it is hydro lock and follow the instructions above

or, since it is an old car, it may have not been stored properly and the varnish inside the engine for fuel residue is preventing the engine from turning...which means you have to take the engine apart and soak it,,
