Default hpi rs4 3 evo glow plugs

looking for info on glow plugs. im using the stock r5 glow plug in my rs4 stock engine. i was curious if running a hotter glow plug might be more suitable for this engine considering the cold weather.engine does not always start. carb is not flooded.only thing i can come up with is either its just to damn cold out or my glow plugs are not hot enough for ignition.this is my first nitro rc.thanks for reading, looking forward to your input.

Have u fully charged the glow warmer?
Maybe its just time to replace the plug - they dont last forever.
Generally, if the weather gets cooler, the plug you use should be hotter - so go the next step hotter.
