Lola shell air dam thingo query
 

Just finishing off a Blitz (Team Titan) 1/10th Lola shell and it has an extra little lexan wedge shaped bit

Whats it for, and which way does it go?

I assume it sorta hooks over the back edge and helps to lessen downforce perhaps by making it not as sharp an angle?

I have seen other lexan bits which seem to extend the rear spoiler with just a flat peice ... but this is like a wedge with sides!

yes, its a little extra wing you put on the back end, with the curbed bit pointing upwards.
Its like adding a spoiler onto a car, only a spoiler on a spoiler in this case :D

Ahhh so it is meant to be a gurney flap~ I read about them once before but also forgot the name.
It seemed to fit nicely over the edge the other way

Ran the car on the weekend but didnt include the bit .. will have to see how much difference it makes next time!
