Yes, it's a pretty good size, and we have run 8th scale on-road classes in the past, but there haven't been any here recently. I disabled mine to run the electronics in the Mayhem I recently picked up. 8th scale buggy is the biggest local class(I race at B&T in Ft Walton, about 40 miles East of Pensacola), they're loads of fun and very plentiful, so I went that route.
I still run 10th scale nitro and electric touring at the Pensacola track, good competition, and several classes to choose from. They're already planning another trophy race, since this last one was so successful.
I don't remember the exact size, something like 180 ft by 60-70 or so ft. There's and outside oval, for the pan and late model cars, and a touring pattern in the middle for all the other classes. We have had pretty good turn outs recently, and racing at night means the heat isn't so bad.
