Like I said, he's one of the most consistant drivers at the track. It does hook up very well, however, the guy who he goes back and forth for position with, runs rubber tires. Apparently, foams scrub speed, but our track is a tight/technical layout...

Well, I got a chance to wring it out today. I've got it dialed again, very impressive. I also pretty much sold 3 more kits, just by impressing a couple onlookers. One guy said he wasn't gonna bother to fix up his old 8th scale, he was just gonna pick up a new XR80 RTR...

I finally got the motor broken in. It's alot quicker now, very good mid range. It seems to fall off in the top end, but launch and everything else are very good. A very not bad stock RTR motor. I got the 2 speed shifting perfectly, and the clutch is just right. I ran about 4 tanks through it, I'm really starting to like this car...

Well guys I just got back from RCX, and I would like to say nice job to Cameron, Nora, and the gang. They had a excellent spot at the show, and a great display. These people were super nice, and very interested in making the buyers happy. Again , Nice job... Oh yeah, good looking products too..

We just got some new limited-production machined solid nylon arms for the XR/8 and XR/80, as well as a new beefier front bulkhead for better impact resistance. The arms are pricey as the machining process to produce them is complex, but they should be bulletproof.

Most likely I will run one. I heard about that RB S7c, however the lHS been telling me it's nothing quite special and isn't that fast at all. If they have anything in stock I'll give a look at it, but I'll probably save for an RB.

I just checked RB's site, nice motor, comes with a pipe. I like that, no mystery to the motor/pipe combo. I've experimented a little, but I lucked out on my last one, seemed to match up perfectly with my engine...

Default more info on RTR.....

hello all.....

just a few questions about the RTR version of the XR8....
what do you guys think about it.....
..quality, performance, etc.....
how does the motor hold up? is it pretty reliable....

Schumacher GTP Menance, how does that compare
to the RTR XR8?

what are some upgrades needed?

someone in the forum may of said that the 2 speed is
misAligned, meaning its not starting out in first gear, and it
stuck on second gear?

are there any quality issues on the RTR....
thanks for your help
the more the better,,,,,thanks
