If someone is still planning on putting on the Paris race in October, they need to decide soon or many people will not be able to get off work on such short notice.

I will be in Vegas starting Oct 1st and leaving on Oct 16th. I hope this race will be held the weekend of Oct 9th-10th; that would be perfect for me. I will be drivng out as of Oct 1, so I will be bring much of my competition r/c gear with me.

Default Las Vegas Fall Classic in memory of Ron Paris

The 4 ACES Racing Association is proud to announce the Las Vegas Fall Classic in memory of Ron Paris. The race will be held at the World Famous Silver Bowl Raceway from October 21st to 24th 2004. Applications and information are available on the 4 ACES website at www.4acesracing.com We hope to see everyone out to help us celebrate the contributions Ron Paris made to the R/C community. This is a great event held to honor a truly great R/C pioneer.

does anyone know what the surface is preped with? i need to know so i can start getting tires. hopefully it is vht.

VHT and sugar water is what is noramlly used.
40-42 fronts (depends on which brand you use)
37-40 rears (same as before)

on vht i usually run 45-42
sugarwatter i run mostly 42-40
tonight since there was low traction i was running 40-37

what hotel is everyone staying at? we are going to have hopefully 2 groups coming down from central cali.

But remember they also have practice open, i think every day and races from all the clups from thursday to sunday.

My guess for a hotel would be Sams Town. Some people do stay at the Fiesta Henderson as well.

I stayed at Boulder Station last time. It was pretty cheap and had descent rooms.

I think Sunset Station is a little better than Boulder Station to stay at but you might not be able to get the same pricing...

we are looking pretty much the cheapest place. it is already going to be a pretty expensive race
