Default engine choice help, axe rossi cobra 12

ive been looking for engines to help my friend get more power in his rs4, and it seems like the axe rossi cobra 12 would be a good choice but i cant find much on the motor besides the stats. Has anyone ever owned one of these or can anyone suggest any other engines?

Don't waste your time. Rossi is known for good offroad engines. I've had a couple of onroad Axe rossi engines and the carbs are pure junk. The only time I got a decent tune with a Axe Rossi onroad engine is when I put an OS carb on it

Pass you soon...

If your looking for a powerful .12 size engine, you cannot go wrong with a Picco JLR Red Dot with the 2652 pipe. I wouldn't recommend the Evo3 though, they have a rod problem due to a design flaw, but I believe the Evo4 is just as good, but without the rod problems!

I agree. I've had 4 Red Dots and they are very strong and won't break the bank.

I know a friend who used to have one.

Parts are very very hard to find. Engine is a bit expensive. It is well outdated. The carb the Rossi engines use is a pain to tune.

My suggestion is:

Get a RB Junior 10 or Novarossi TS1. They wont break your bank, won't break your rubber tires (if you use them) and won't break your drivetrain.

The Picco engines are good, but I believe it will be too much torque for a RS4 to handle. I haven't seen a Picco engine without a rod problem, and the carb are very tricky to tune.
