Questions?? Pan Car Identity, I was told this was a Serpent?

I recently traded a Blade SR for this 1/8 Pan Car. I love it, however, I cannot identify it. I was told it was a Serpent, however, what model? I know it is old and was told by some locals that it may be a Serpent clone. The problem I am having is I cannot find rear wheels to fit this car. It has a hex nut rather than just a pin on the rear only. Can someone help me identify what car this is, and, will I be able to find rear wheels/tires for it?

That looks like a Serpent Excel 1/8, which will date from around 1992

Can't you Modify the hex on the axle, you can then fit the new style wheel over the pin!

It looks to me that if you take the hex out and put shims behind the drive pin to take up the space left by taking out the hex you should be able to use current wheels like Team Kamikaze said.
