Default Cheap nitro dragster

I don't know how good or bad the Megatech dragster is, but they're blowing them out at $179.99!!!! The original list was $449. Anyone with any experience chime in. http://dealer.megatech.com/itDetail.asp?it=MTC7810

Hey Redlinez, that dragster is ok to pay around with but really not a competive if you plan on racing . Check out these websites if you are interested in RC Drag Racing......lynwoodrcdragway.com, rcdrags.com, and imdra.com. The dragster I run is powered by .21 and is capable of making passes in the low 1.5 second range at over 85mph. (132 feet)

On my power spreadsheet I calculate you will need 120oz/in of torque on the motor to run 1.5s The highest torque I have seen from a .28 motor is around 85oz/in which will give you 2.0 for 132 ft

More likely there is something wrong with my spreadsheet as I have seen a 1.6 second pass....lol

Oh, I'm not looking for one. I just wanted to pass on the deal for anyone thinking about it as I saw these selling for $350 plus everywhere else. Seemed like a deal to me.
