Traxxas 4-tec 3.3 exhaust relocation
hey guys,
i'm fairly new to the r/c world and i recently picked up a traxxas 4-tec 3.3 car. I was looking at alot of different styles of bodies that can be put on the car and noticed that for trucks and off road cars there are pipes sold that can relocated the header and exhaust. I was wondering if there were such pipes for on road cars such as my 4-tec. any help and advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advanced! -jon |
Not really. You could flip it over and make it come out the back, but that might affect the performance since the manifold would go upwards, and it might collect a bunch of oil and crap if you don't accelerate often enough.

i see; thanks its just i hate buying a new body and doing all work painting it and then i have to cut out a little hole on the side for the exhaust. are there any other alternatives? is there a body bigger than 200mm?

Why does it bother you so much to make 1 small hole in the side of the body? Your going to have to have a bigger one in the front windshield anyway! |
doesnt bother me so much; just wanted to explore my options before i start drilling holes that might have been unnecessary thats all.
