Keeway Moped Not Running Right! Help?

I have a Keeway Hurricane 50cc... It starts up and everything, but then runs and slow runs and slows. AS f it gets a shot of gas, and then nothing, a shot of gas then nothing. Makes a very slow and jerky ride... What to do? Is it maybe the fuel filter? OUCH!
