Here is some more info I was asked to post:

Larry's Performance R/C will be at the Toledo Woodville Mall track during the ROAR Fuel Sedan Nationals. If you have items that you need for this race, please contact the crew at Larry's. (586) 997-4840 or their web site at www.larrysperformancercs.com

For better hotel rates, you only have a few days left to confirm your rooms.

Sleep Inn (419) 697-7800 ask for ROAR Nats rate #100407 good until 8/10.

Comfort Inn (419) 691-8911 ask for ROAR Nats rate #1692 good until 8/17.

Both are nice places to stay.

FYI:

The Parma Alfa just won the Great Lakes Challenge. You might want to give it a try.

I have also tried the Parma Alpha. I most defanatly think it is a body to try. I ran a different body during the race then practiced with one after and my car handled much better and lap times were faster.

McSquish, you should try putting your car in one of those hamster wheels.

S.Stew, that s_cks! I would go to the web page listed above and let Ted Hammer know. He would be able to help you I would think.

Kropy, can I have one of yours to try it out?

At the Great Lakes Challenge, which had a lot of traction, some guys were using 45 front and 42 rear, lots of guys used 42 front and rear. I don't think very many people used less than 40's.

I would expect the Nationals to have similiar traction. I have a NTC3 and used 40's front and back but it was a little tricky to keep from traction rolling.

People are running tires between 38 and 42. I am thinking that the traction might be high enough that 38's will be too soft. I have 40's through 45's incase the traction goes insane like it did at the Great Lakes Challange. I know that doesn't give you a specific shore, but I hope it helps. Also tire wear can be a bit high if the traction is fair, at the last race I killed a new set of tires.

Thumbs up

Hey guys! just wanted to say the Parma body is AWESOME! I had refused to try any other bodies until Mcsquish insisted on it and I could'nt beleive the difference! It felt like he put a Lola body on my car!....definately the body to have....Tire wise it is looking like 40 to 42 shores may we the way to go....but you may want a second opinion,....I was in the B main last race!..
