I would love to see it racing. With only 2 wheel drive it could be handfull!

Cheers
Yup .. I was there and saw it too. Looked well tested and run already ... in fact someone even broke the lower right wishbone!

Will post some videos and pics of the one I saw at NEC as soon as I get my broadband up and running.

I didn't create the polls.
Pieter Bervoets did on Mytsn.com in the Veteq VIP Room.

Talking about hiding "assets" from wives.....

The day when I took my newly bought 1/5 F1 home, trying to look for a 'hole' large enough to hide it, my better half caught me right on... Just when I prepared for disaster, I took the courage to show her what I bought. To my surprise she would let me display it in the living room as long as I paint the body in Ferrari livery, which is her favorite F1 team. She even set aside her favorite dolls for my FG so that the chassis and the body could be set side by side in the living room. Now its she who would flip through the FG catalog and asked me to put on upgrade parts so that it makes the chassis look "more realistic".

Now she had something to brag to her friends with.....

Actually I only ran it a few times....There is only one track that could barely fit in 1/5, so me and my friends would go to parking lots at night.... Most of the time it is "accessory to the vase"....

a 1/8th f1 will probably end up costing more money then a FG F1 though, I spend more on my 710 then my F1, both race every week. almost never have toput tires or parts on the large car, and they run similar lap times on the same tracks.

A 1/8th F1 would be very coo, I would by one just for that factor. open wheel racing is the best you always have to respect the rub. we rub our f1 at speed quite often, worst case someone goes upside down almost never deos it result in a broken part.

PSI Racing,

Thanks for your info. Again ending up with the famous Veteq VIP room where maybe 500 - 1000 persons have access. If Serpent want success with an special F1 car, as the F180 will be if that go in production, then I think Serpent need to open up for an part of the Veteq room, because the F180 is NOT any longer an issue for the Veteq owners. It is time all the Serpent fanatics have access to what had happen.

And for 1/5 scale, then I also would like one of those monster F1’s, but at my track then it would be impossible to drive one of those, because the track is to small, so an F180 would be ok.

Regards

The only reason why everything about the F180 is in the Veteq VIP Room is because Pieter Bervoets promised us Veteq owners that they would try to make a 1/8 F1.
It was a way of making us feel better after Serpent switched to the 950.
It's still a work in progress, and they still haven't released too much detail on the car.
They only published 2 articles and they have a forum that is only 2 pages long.
You're not really missing out on a lot.
I'm sure after their test they'll release more info.

I am regree with you that Serpent will release more info when the tests is over, but possible only in the VIP room, to keep the Veteq owners happy.
