Default Shock position questions.

Shock position questions guys .....

The initial factory setup from rx8 is suggesting hole number 2 for front and hole number 2 for rear shock position ( where hole number 1 is the
lowest postion or most incline position ).

What can i expect if I use hole number 3 for front and rear shock position ?
( 1 hole more vertical ? ) ...... will it be more responsive ?

This is for new renovated track, which is medium size and semi technical.

My friends ( in video ) are still using the initial factory setup except the caster position: more incline, 1mm shim at back position.

if you use the number 3 position you will have a more unstable car but more responsive for more information please refer to hudy set up book...

How often are you going to hit a wall? How often you want to paint a body? A pro lite weight body is good for a weekend race for a ok driver. A regular weight will last atleast twice as long.

my pro lite weight body with 5 colors painted on it, plus 6 stiffeners installed is 140 grams. I have a regular weight with one color, and 4 stiffeners added to it thats 160 grams.

I wish to buy the light weight version...... but tower hobby dont have it in stock yet. So at the moment I have to order 909 regular weight.

I'm going to try blitz R09 body this weekend ( first time )..... Hopefully R09 is as good as 909.

Never use Blitz body on RX8 coz it won't turn.

Yeaaa .... beebone, in your earlier post ..... , you said that you have use mugen seiki pinion gears with xray clutch bell, and it works.

Are you sure ?

Coz I have try it and I risk to ruin the pinion threads.
