need help shimming clutch on kyosho evolva m3
hi there you see when u set ur shims up on your thrust bearing what shims do u use mm and how many as im stuck on this.i have the nova 35 plus engine

The shims at the thrustbearing do set the gap. You have to build the clutch and determ the gap, if the gap is to big you have to change it with the shims.

Use the video Roelof on Xray Clutch help you had thre other thread you composed.
Salven's video I been useing for 15+ years or so or when Serpent introduced the Centax.. Easiest way to set up the gap or endplay. Measuremnt calipers are available for cheap.
Just follow the steps on Salven's video.
Sorry a different composer of Xray Clutch Help. It doesn't matter which engine manufacture you have.

If you are in the US, you can find digital calipers from Harbor Freight for around $5.
+1 on that video, I never really understood how to measure the gap but now I do. So easy.
