If it is an MTX-3 (and I'm pretty sure it is) it is an excellent car. Unfortunately it is an older car so some parts may be a bit difficult to find but other than that, it is still capable of winning and best of all, it's a tough and reliable car.

looks like an mtx3 to me but that motor looks huge see the stinger on the pipe its like 2inches long and also be aware that all 4 shocks are mounted upside down:nod:

I totally agree, except about you saying that parts are hard to find. Look on ebay, end-of-line-rc.co.uk, and Ashford hobbies and you'll find a significant amount of parts for it.

I didn't say they were difficult, I said they MAY be. I sold my MTX-3 when the 4 came out so I haven't had to look for parts. :D

Hello all,
after a fair bit of waiting i received this car this morning, it looks like a quality bit of kit, There seems to be no way of starting the model though. Would i be right in guessing that im going to need a starter box?
thanks
STEVE

lots of parts on ebay (suspension arms knuckles, uprights,, spurs, pinions) for belts
toughracing.com is the way to go, for pinions i purchased in the uk those

good luck,

Yes you will need a starter box.
