Default jato 3.3

hey all just my luck broke my piston and sleeve but before i get a new one should i just get a new engine because i ran my car hard one day and then the next day the temp dropped about 20 degrees and the shaft to the piston released and broke. the piston will move in the sleeve but only about 1 mm up and down it is stuck at top of the sleeve i guess because the sleeve shrank around the pistion and one of the grooves caught on the piston head when the sleeve shrank. if im wrong on what i think happened let me kno but should i just replace the sleeve or get a whole new engine?
