I knew you had posted some images so i went see the thread and so i'm assuming it's a drop in fit for the serpent diff in the rear and a Capricorn in front.Well weather here isn't great just wanted something to keep me busy indoors waiting for the R4.Any more news about the R4?

also with the serpent diff using the xray belt, it fit perfectly using the stock notches, and u can adjust the notches as they go..
also serpent diff is 'slightly' narrower than the xray diff, so you dont have to dremel the bulkheads, i just sand the eccentrics down so make them thinner and it fits fine.
i allowed the rear diff to have ~ .01mm side to side slop so the rear is very free spinning. i can spin the diff and it will spin for ages.
as for the front, its pretty much a straight drop in, you need the illusive 10x18mm bearings and shims to shim it out.. i also give the front a ~.01mm slop so its very free.

iv been using the titanium 2pd gear, havent had any problem yet.. its 4g lighter than stock but u will need to use the old 2sp clutch with it.

yep, you can run the titanium shoe .
and i the 3racing titanium shaft is good too, it has the holes for the pins so you can use the pulley, brake hub, etc.

wow, heaps of difference.. looks like a completely new car.
look how low the top deck is now.. it looks like you will only be able to run a low profile throttle servo.. in one of the pics, you can see the low profile servo touching the bottom chassis..
rear end is alot different, bulkheads, different arms (look at where the swaybar attaches to the arms), shock tower,
the front end is different aswell. bulkheads (to accomodate for lower top deck), shock tower,
new fuel tank
spur gear looks alot smaller
still big diffs... looks like the v-oneS ones they were round like that.
one thing ill be doing when this comes out is buying the front bulkheads so i can lower my topdeck. the rear looks pretty compatible with the current RRR aswell.

not bad, i knew there had to be something besides fuzzy cad drawings.
unfortunately they changed just enough that this is an entirely new car, a chassis + top deck + bulkheads is probably the price of the car.. but the good news is that since they seem to have kept the drivetrain the same we can use our evo2's for parts.
