what car should i get
which car should i get Serpent Impulse Yokomo GT-4 RTR Kyosho V-One R Associated Nitro TC3 Yokomo GT-4 R-Spec HPI Nitro RS4 3 Type SS. i planing to race and bashing around. i cant decide what to get. every time i finally decide on one car, i find more and change my mind and never could decide. please help

Get the car that best interests you but also take into consideration the car that best suits you. Which car does your LHS carry parts for? That is very important since if you need a replacement part you won't have to "mail-order" everything. In the long run shipping becomes very expensive.
Also, what type and size of tracks do you plan on racing on? If your local track is tight and technical, get the NTC3. The shaft driven transmission is more efficient than a 3-Belt transmission, which will give you better acceleration coming out of the corners. If you race on a larger more open track the shaft driven transmission really has nothing over a 3-Belt transmission. A shaft driven transmission is more durable though so if you race on a track where its dusty and rock-laden you would be less prone to drivetrain damage. The most important factor of all like I stated before is parts availability in your area. It stinks to not to be able to race because you are missing a screw and can't get it til' next week.
I race a Reflex NT and parts availability is very scarce where I live. I almost have to mail-order everything. With all the shipping expenses I probably could have bought another Reflex by now. Have I learned from this? No, I will be soon getting a Kyosho V-One RR. No shops in my area carries any parts for Kyosho to boot. Everyone at my tracks races NTC3s. What can I say, I like to be different.

i narrow it down to Serpent Impulse, Kyosho V-One RR, Trinity reflex NT, or a Mugen MTX-2

you could get them imported from hong kong or find a store that ships them from hong kong

what you should do first is go down to ur track and talk to everyone with a car that you have mentioned, ask the pros and cons of the car and also ask them for their own opinion too. then find the one that best suits you and if ur a good n nice person u could ask for a little test drive of the final 2 or 3 that you like best, then you should make up your own desision, its not good to have other ppl feeding you crap. and have a good look at the layout and style of chassis

well if ur in the market for one of the cars he has mentioned i think he better not be a newbie, and ppl just do go out and buy all the best stuff...... i didnt do that but after i sold my ob4 igot all the gear to suit
