This is definately an amazing little beast, being the younger brother of the FW-05R.

Hey,
I have already got the following for the FW-05S:
Special Break Disc
V-one R fuel tank
Extra Differential

These upgrades are cheap, yet I have noticed a differende, in acceleration, which is where this car really dominates.

i also own a fw05s...
can the v-one-r tank fits into the fw05s chassis..
and one more thing... u still using the stock engine??

Yes! You can use a V-one R fuel tank on the FW-05S... I am using one!

Yes! I am still using the GS 15R, what about you???

How have you been racing your car? Seious race meetings or just for fun???

you all might be interested to know that a bone stock FW-05S with GS-15 and 2 speed conversion came in 2nd in the Kyosho Cup Taiwan, beating a FW-05R with a Nova Max engine. Again goes to show it's the driver that matters.

i'm nas...
not much track in spore though...
i play with two of my frens...
we are new and training to intend to go for race...

although.. we have a problem with our engine...
its damn damn damn dirty after our track session...
dont know whether its from the engine starter or isit
our engine tuning is wrong...
are u facing the same problem...

bout the voner tank i'm still considering about buying the fw05r tank... must see whether its the same....

I have not faced too many probs with my engine....
(Except that BLOODY pull starter!!!! )

Anyway, I order my parts from Hong Kong, they are very cheap!
If you are interested I will give you more details!

If the car is dirty...
A). The race area may be dirty.
B). Inside engine may be dirty.
C). Engine rejecting the fuel.
D). Fuel may be spraying everywhere due to fuel/air leak.

I will help you out, soon with the engine!
