Best starter kit?
 
I been away from this hobby for a couple of years. Have a 710 with mugen x-12. My friend wants to get Into the hobby which has me going. What's the best RTR kit that he can upgrade? From last I remembered the ntc3 was up there and was upgradable to be a racer

Any input appreciated

Go for Kyosho..if support isn't a problem..then you have 2 choices of ARTR..the V-One SIII or the new V-One SR. Both can be upgradable to be a champ..:D:D

also, fw-06 is a good reliable car.

I found guy selling a serpent 710 with pick engine and even with radio for $350. Is that a good price or is this car out dated
