Default stupid newbie charger question.

Ok i recently got a supernova 3000 charger and have a few questions with the peak charging function.

With this charger i will be charging a rx pack with 5x800mha NiCd cells and i will also be charging my Tx pack which are 1200mha Nimh cells.

What charge rate should i set for these packs and does this charger work with the Nimh cells on my transmitter?

Charge the RX pack under .5 amps and you should be fine. I'm not familiar with that charger so I don't know if its capable of charging Nimh batteries. Even if it isn't rated for Nimh, you can charge at a low rate. I have charged mine at .25 amps and it works fine. Have you thought about getting a small trickle charger? You can get one for under $20 that will charge both overnight withno worries about overcharging.
