Hi, new to the forum, and nitro cars.

my problem is i bought a 2nd hand rc nitro car. the guy i bought it off said the receiver was a bit dodgey.

i bought a new receiver and the same thing happened (the servos only moved when im right next to it)

i thought it might be the controller so i bought another 1. but same again,only moves when im right next to it.

the batteries are fully charged in the he controller and on the receiver??

any help would be much appreciated.

Just for the sake of asking.....does the receiver have an antenna? Does it look like its been cut? Its usually about 15 to 20 inches long.

What brand is it. Do the bands and frequencies match?

Is there a failsafe connected to receiver?
