I have a DM-1 and I only use it at the race track. I have lots of friends that only do the parking lot scene and they love their DM-1 not many with the GTP. I hear that the GTP has some issues with the diffs or something like that.

I have the GTP2 and it's awesome. But you have to make some changes: change servos and radio to better ones. About the diff: the 4 screws that holds the ring gear to the diff housing ,all ran loose and fell off .Thread lock them and you're good to go .Also the grub screw that holds the two speed shoe to the shaft, grub screws on the outdrive cups, all should be threadlocked(BLUE not RED) This car is very good on handling and braking.Won with mine in St. Marteen Soualiga Rc Championships.
