Not yet, but it wouldn't suprise me. Serpent has to release new cars every 6 months trying to compete with the Mugens.

They'll probably adapt the laid down engine into the 950r. Very nice. F1 rocks!

I think they'll come out with a new car by next year.
Once you see prices starting to drop, then you know something is coming.
So far, bruckner hobbies is having a sale on the 950R.

When more stores starts dropping their prices, then a new car might be on the verge of being released.

Actually, Serpent raised their KIT price like 3 months ago, but DROPPED a lot of parts price recently.......

A full set of adjustable shocks with new keyed shaft and damper.......$36 (for all 4 with yellow springs..)

$9 a shock.........I thought HPI shocks are cheap.

Well, correct me if I am wrong........you can see for yourself

Serpent parts # is 909440

http://www.mytsn.com/products/desc.asp?prid=2459

It said, it is a COMPLETE SET of 4, but just don't understand FR and RR means (I hope it means FRONT and REAR instead of Front RIGHT and Rear RIGHT, that is only 2 shocks)

Retail is $40.99 and you can call ROBERT @ Ashford Hobby, I think their price is around $36 plus shipping...

Oh, yes, you can always buy the shaft to replace the broken one, the old price of the front or rear shaft (909442/909444) are around $14 per pair...NOW....$7 a pair, the plastic parts set for the shock (909441), it was like $25..now, $12.

There are no 5 step shocks.
The old shocks go from 1 hole to 4.
The new shocks go from 2 holes to 5.
I don't have the part number in front of me right now.

Yeah, there are no 5 steps. just the holes # are different now..
The only updated parts for the shocks are the KEYED shaft alone with the KEYED damper kit...

Type KEYED at the products box at Serpent site and you can see all the SHOCK parts listed...or 909440 for the shocks sets.
