Engine setting (too lean) or a worn conrod.

What car? What motor? What fuel? When you say they blow, are they just no longer glowing or are the elements actually gone?

Nova plugs aren't what they used to be. Try a Nova 8 if that's all you can get. Some better choices are Sirio (Werks) 7, GRP 7, or even the OD99's.

How you read the GP tells you. If GP is wet with fuel & sooty, its rich. When eliment is blown like a light bulb, its lean. Try useing a neutral GP while breaking in engine, like in the range of 8. 7 range maybe to hot for you for now.

The GRP is THE best glow plug you can get, they will outlive a motor!
