Dear All,

Does anyone know if the Futaba Crystal set on my 3PK will work on the JR R-1 System? The R-1 has R330S PCM Receiver, but that shouldn't matter. Please advise.

One more question.
We have 3PK wih HRS recievers and it is required to use short type in reciever ( by the manual). Can I use regular christal on reciever or I must to use short type.

Eddie. I dont believe they will work in the JR. I never actually looked to figure out why considering they both will interefere with each other.

Topgun. You will have to use the short crystal.

I have run Sanwa crystals in my 3PK with no problems, never in HRS but PCM & PPM works fine. I dont know about JR. With the HRS receiver I have used crystals I had from my 3PJ but I dont know if they are long or short, I didnt realise there was a difference.

Not in a JR but they wont work in a Hitec.

The way I learned it was that Futaba and Hitec are compatible and JR and Airtronics are compatible as far as crystals are concerned. However, Hitec dual conversion crystals seen to not work with Futaba gear and single conversion Futaba crystals don't seem to work in Hitec dual conversion receivers upon my experimentation.
