Thanks and good luck to everyone attending the region 1 regional, Dorian Tisdale, Melvin Aulston and I will all be in Illinois gunning for some good results. Hoping to have a great outcome for the team at both races this weekend.

So where's everyone at???
We had fun at the Byron's Challenge up in Joliet, IL and a good track to experiment with the GQ tires.
I tried the carbon wheels for the first time and I ran them until I ran out
32F 37R combination worked well for me and if I can get my hands on some more before the next Joliet midwest series race, I will definitely be ready.
The tire wear was very low, even on the 32F's. I was able to run them from 59mm to 56mm over a 20-30 minute period of practice and quals. I promised myself I wouldn't come back with a bag full of used tires but I liked them so much at 56mm, I couldn't throw them away.

GQ had a good showing 2 weeks ago at the roar region 1 race in Chaplin CT.
Tire of choice for me was 37F-42R. Tire wear was very low once again. I started tires at 58mm front and 60mm rear. Ran 3 minutes of warm up and qualifier, then ran a 20 minute B-main and still had a nice tire left.
I bumped into the A and then finished 4th!
Pedro also made the B-main, but then had some bad luck and blew up his engine during warm up ... You'll get them next time..

Hey Rui Good Job !
Yes GQ had a good showing 2 weeks ago at the roar region 1 race in Chaplin CT.
Tire of choice for me was 35F-37R. Tire wear was very low.Yes Rui, I had bad luck from the start 1st qualifier some one take me out 2nd I slow down my self to try put under my belt a qualifier and I make it and guess what 3rd qualifier some one take me out again. I qualifier 3 in the B-Main and like you say before (Pedro also made the B-main, but then had some bad luck and blew up his engine during warm up ... You'll get them next time.. )
I was really happy with the performent of the GQ tires be the 1st time use the tires at that track...
Hey Rui look what happen to my new Motor. Yes I know now is no new is done.
