it doesnt controll how much top end, it controlls how much fuel goes into the engine when its in the upper rpm range. so if you turn one way, (counterclockwise) you get more fuel and the other way (clockwise) you get less fuel this is called riching and leaning respectivly. to do the low end, there is a screw in the center of the throttle lever on the carb. Same thing as the upper.

Yes there is an idle screw also, it adjusts the gap between the slide or barrel & the carb body. The bigger the gap the higher it idles. It needs to be between .8 & 1.2mm when the engine is tuned correctly.

i will ask my questions when i have it infront of my face.

PS. the refirbished rtr side exaust pull start was only $230.00
+ all the tax and shipping stuff.

Good deal all i need is a glow plug starter and some gas!

well it says its a 200mm body .. so theoretically it should work ... the only things I would be worried about are if this car your getting has the new rear suspension on it you might have an issue of getting that low slung body to set right on the newer taller shock tower ... might want to head off to the local hobby shop and see if they have one so you could measure it up on your car before plunking down the money for it ....

have fun racing

i dont have my car yet i just ordered it and they are on backorder so i have to wait and then its going to take a while to ship.

but when i get it i will go to the hobby store.
im pretty sure that it is an old one.
so it should work.

i dont want to go to the track with a stock body. doesnt look good.

as long as you can get to the flywheel through the chassis, yes a starter box will work
