Default Difference in headers

Does anybody know the difference between a conical and a non conical header?Which one is better?

conical means the the manifold gets larger in inside diameter as it goes towards the pipe,it makes more power as it helps scavenge or suck the exhaust from the engine.
a non conical (standard) header is the same diameter at both ends but has better fuel economy.
